After the penile prosthesis surgery, follow this to avoid infections:  Avoid making implant wet by bathing on shower; instead take sponge bath, so that implant will remain dry. Keep the wound dry all the time. Wash would with saline water and dry it with sterile cotton Always cover the would with sterile tape Take bed rest for atleast 15 days.
